Jonathan Adler, But Make It Washable

I’ve long been obsessed with Jonathan Adler.. and, honestly, love his husband Simon Doonan just as much (Barneys!! RIP!)... so I was very excited to see his collaboration with Ruggable.

We already have countless tableware pieces in our kitchen, a collection of his tongue-and-cheek canisters and more vases than I can count, so bringing that same playful Jonathan Adler energy onto the floor felt like a natural next step.

The Tiger Emerald rug immediately stood out to me because it has everything I love about his designs: bold color, personality and something a little unexpected. The fact that it’s washable makes it even better, especially in a house with kids.

I also love how many sizes Ruggable offers. Rugs can be tricky because you find one you love and then realize the proportions are all wrong. Here, there are enough options that you can actually find the size that fits your room perfectly instead of trying to make the room work around the rug. It feels like the best of both worlds: unmistakably Jonathan Adler, but practical enough for real life.
