Scholastic Has The BEST Peppa Pig Books

A few days ago my mother told me that she's obsessed with how my son Max "speaks like a Lord." That "sophisticated" accent is all thanks to watching the British show Peppa Pig. So whoever said kids don't learn anything from TV was sorely mistaken!

As much as Max and his younger sister, Nell, love watching Peppa and her friends they're as happy to have me read them one of the series' books. In fact, at this point my son who can't read (he's 3.5 years old) knows the stories so well he will often insist on "reading" them to me.

We've gotten all our Peppa books from Scholastic and they've been a hit with not only my kids, but everyone we've gifted them to (they're a go-to birthday present). The 5-Minute Peppa Stories book is by far the favorite (my 1.5 year old daughter loves it equally).

One of my favorite things to do with the kids is go to Pura Vida before school and order a croissant and "iced cappuccino" aka milk for the kids and sit on their big couch reading from the Peppa book. It's such a great way to spend quality time - while killing some of those hours before the 9AM start to school.

It's so crazy to me to now be online shopping Scholastic books for my own children... who would have thought when I was circling my picks on their order forms decades ago with my mom!!
